26 Wednesdays. Half a year.

My first date with Mr. Higgins was on a Wednesday in January. We've seen each other every Wednesday since then; it's become our Date Night. Tonight will be the 26th such date. Next week will be our six month anniversary.

To say that it's gone by in a blur is an understatement. I remember that first night so clearly - the butterflies, the initial nerves, the conversation.... And then everything just sort of fell into place. It's been a miraculous journey and one that I never thought to experience. The unexpected, it seems, can and does happen.

Other, bigger plans are keeping our sixth-month anniversary celebration relatively low-key but that doesn't make it any less special. Six months with an incredible guy....priceless!
