Hurricane Alex has brought some welcome rain to my part of the world. June was exceptionally hot with triple digits, but Alex has brought those temperatures down to the "cool" nineties along with the rain. It's a relief, to be sure!
I think the heat had been weighing on me. I haven't felt rested or refreshed for weeks. But having a relief from the temperatures is doing wonders.
So, though hurricanes are not the ideal way to get rain, I'll take what we can get! Nature has a way of balancing things out!
